The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you are seeking a robot vacuum and mop that is middle-of-the-road. It has a great mopping capability, but it lacks some of the advanced features that are found in its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do, to map your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and incredible cleaning power, including a dirt compartment that is integrated into the base of charging. This robot can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules to ensure you have a hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the click of a button. You can select an overall clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger pieces of debris like rice and cereal. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that your home is completely cleaned.

This robot vacuum performs well on both bare floors and low-pile carpet. It is able to pick up pet hair and sucks large items up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpets however iRobot says that future models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba that has an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes that this will allow it to be able to hug the furniture and walls. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are widely used however we found it to be only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with an advanced filtration system that blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating in your home. We think this is a nice statement but not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to keep track of the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles like stairs and other barriers and to tidy up your whole home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vac settings are as efficient as those found on more expensive models and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only drawback is that it lacks a second rubber brush to provide more thorough cleaning, but that's an affordable price to pay if you are looking for one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also bigger than those on many of its competitors and takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.

As for the mopping device, I was impressed by its ability to scrub off the tough dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than high-powered modes, produce very little noise, so you can work or watch television without being distracted. If it comes into contact with the wall or a furniture piece, it gently bumps into it before moving along.

What really sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and will automatically move trash into a hidden bin. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is wrong like the water tank being empty or a canceled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.

You can also design and merge actual rooms to customize how the Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is beneficial if you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or when you have to frequently remove clutter, such as toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, picking up debris from both carpets and hardwoods in its first best robot mop run. It can even vacuum up wet spills however I would recommend drying them using a clean cloth before bringing the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a premium robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum with a powerful suction to clean hard and carpet floors, plus an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also has an auto-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also features a new sensor system that better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it has a sleeker, more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet in height and depth and weighs in excess of four pounds--the entire robot and its base are less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and can clean up 1,500 square feet in a single charge. And it has a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris which makes it easier to empty it when needed.

Lastly lastly, the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and voice assistant that operates offline, allowing you to use it even if you're away from home. It also comes with additional mopping modes as well as a smart routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean certain rooms or areas of your house instead of just following a specific path.

The X2 Omni is the best mopping robot. Its rotating mop pads clean tough stains and its motor creates a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding as well, and it boosts suction when it senses carpet to ensure it's doing an excellent job. It is equipped with a large, rechargeable battery that can last up to one week. The mopping feature of the robot is also very effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that has a range of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. It can create precise floor maps and recognize various flooring types. It's also one of the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. While these features are great, they also put the L10s Ultra in the category of luxury and could mean it's somewhat more expensive than the average homeowner need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is slim and tall with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, which helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving around the home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, you'll find a single button that essentially serves as the on/off switch. This button will activate the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and transmit it to its base station. The central control panel is an oblique menu that lets you select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The mops also work well, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, carpet, and wood tests. It was not as effective at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
